Kings Canyon Unified School District announced at their regularly scheduled board meeting on April 28, 2020 that the district will extend home-based learning through the end of this school year. During the meeting Board President Craig Cooper said, “It is with the utmost concern for the safety of students and staff members that KCUSD has made the difficult decision to continue home-based learning as the mode of instruction through the end of this school year. It is our intention to have a culminating experience for all students to the point that local and state health guidelines allow. Details will be sent as plans unfold. In addition, an important announcement regarding high school graduation will be released tomorrow afternoon.”
